Onika Maraj (born December 8, 1984), better known by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is an American female hip-hop artist. She was discovered on Myspace and signed to the Dirty Money record label. Soon after her appearance on several hip-hop dvd series, she was contacted by rapper Lil Wayne. In August 2009, Minaj signed to his record company, Young Money Entertainment. Her debut studio album will be released in 2010. Nicki Minaj videos get more views than any other rap female artist on YouTube.
